Seller's Description
Documented 47 oil changes. Factory floor mats believed to be numbers-matching. Seller "reluctantly parting" after 3 weeks of ownership.
Presenting what may be the most thoroughly documented 1994 Honda Civic DX in existence — a vehicle whose paper trail is, frankly, more impressive than the vehicle itself.
The seller, who acquired this Civic three weeks ago from the original owner's estate, has compiled a 47-page binder documenting every oil change, tire rotation, and "preventive maintenance event" since the car left the dealership in November 1993.
"I didn't know her personally," the seller writes of the original owner, "but based on the documentation, she was meticulous. I feel a responsibility to honor that."
The floor mats are believed to be original to the car. The seller has not confirmed this with Honda, but describes them as "numbers-matching in spirit." They are in excellent condition. There are four of them.
The car runs and drives. The seller notes that it "starts every time" and that the heat "works great." The air conditioning "works fine when it's not too hot outside," which the seller describes as "a minor nuance."
This is a no-reserve auction. The seller is reluctantly parting. He has been reluctantly parting for three weeks. He will continue to be reluctant regardless of the final price.
