Our Story

About Bring The Bids

Bring The Bids was founded in 2021 by a man who spent six hours writing a listing for a car worth $4,200. He has not stopped since.

We are the internet's most trusted source for enthusiast car auctions — a platform where every vehicle is documented, every seller is reluctantly parting, and every floor mat is believed to be numbers-matching. We take this very seriously.

Our Mission

Bring The Bids exists to connect enthusiasts who are reluctantly parting with their vehicles with enthusiasts who are enthusiastically acquiring them — and then, six months later, reluctantly parting with them in turn.

We believe every car has a story. We believe that story should be told in approximately 4,000 words, with particular attention paid to the service history, the ownership timeline, and the floor mats.

We are not responsible for what happens after the auction ends. We are not financial advisors. We are not therapists. We are, however, available to help you write your next listing.

The Bring The Bids Promise

Documented. Verified. Reluctant.

  • Every listing reviewed by our editorial team
  • All sellers verified as "reluctantly parting"
  • Floor mat documentation required
  • "Never tracked" claims accepted on good faith
  • No reserve available on all listings
  • Binder submission encouraged but not required

What We Believe

Documentation Above All

We believe every car deserves a binder. Preferably a three-ring binder with tabbed dividers, laminated service records, and a handwritten note from the original dealer explaining why the car is special.

Reluctant Parting

Every seller on our platform is reluctantly parting with their vehicle. We do not accept listings from sellers who are enthusiastically parting, indifferently parting, or parting for any reason other than "life circumstances."

No Reserve, Always

We believe in the market. We believe the market will recognize the value of your 1994 Civic. We believe the market will bid $31,500. The market has not disappointed us yet.

Enthusiast-Grade Descriptions

Our editorial team will transform your vehicle's features into a narrative of automotive significance. A working radio becomes "factory audio, original to the car." A full tank of gas becomes "recently serviced, ready to drive."

The Team

The people behind the platform. All are reluctantly employed here.
